Community conversation space

MGA invites community members to host their clubs, groups, meetups and talks in the gallery.

Suggestions: knitting clubs, book clubs, camera clubs, conversation classes, english as an additional language classes... 

Each session runs for two hours. 

Session 1: 10am-12noon

Session 2: 2pm-4pm

Available Tuesday-Friday for the duration of the Portrait of Monash: the ties that bind exhibition period (until 9 April).

Equipment provided: 

One tv monitor with usb port, and HDMI connection (bring your own device) 

Not provided: PA system without prior consultation as the sound cannot be isolated to the community space

Furniture options - this is a very flexible space.

Tables: Two adjustable height trestle tables, 1.5m x 75cm each (coffee table height up to standing-desk height)

Seating options:

Chairs with backs (up to 30)

Foldable chairs without backs (max. 20)

Tables can be configured into one long table (seats 10) , one large square table (seats 8), two coffee tables or two standing desks for stand-up discussions
